I have a tape of my voice... I am saying stuff like, "In conclusion, there seems to be a need for our solution, but we don't know if people will use our solution." It is for my tech writing speech. The strange thing is, when I go around every day, I think of myself having a voice of an authoritative alto that, with light rolls and movements of the eyebrows, sounds very academic. However, I am completely inaccurate.

Technically, I am a mezzosaprano. My voice is high, but not sqeaky high. When I speak, far from the rolling tones of an academic, I speak with a little bit of a sing-song, I sound... junvenille! (No wonder no one ever takes me seriously!) I am not sure if I like the way I speak, but I know that I can't change it. For some reason, my large throat has been constructed to emit these unassuming girlish tones. I guess the conclusion of this analysis that I have to be more careful when I speak high because it must be... a LOT higher than I think.

My voice is pretty... delightful. When I was little, I used to think my voice was not deep, but sounded deep when recorded. Now it sounds in my head, not too deep, but creepy when I record it.

Apparently, among my friends, I am known for doing dead-on impressions of ditzy white girls, which now that I think about it, it bothers me just a bit.

I'm not quite sure where my voice falls, though sometimes I feel its a little bit too high-pitched in the valley girl sort of way.

I am very good about not ending my sentences in questions? Haha? Because, you know nothing makes you sound more serious than ending your sentences up on an uplilt? :D

i have not really listen to my voice because i'm just afraid to accentuate it especially in singing.. i squek like a mouse when comes to singing. aren't i cute? XD

I had a teacher once, his voice was really singsong while he was teaching. It made it hard to pay attention to lecture.

Maybe I'll upload a clip of me talking, we can have a NuFad, "what do you sound like?"

Hahaha, your voice seems just like my friend's! When she first heard it recorded she was surprised and then asked me,"Is my voice the reason why everyone thinks I'm so innocent?"
