So, I bought some water colors today. It was kind of fun to get to look at all the different colors and things. I am still a little nervous about the whole thing, but its not a sinking in the pit of my stomach nervous, so I think I'm going to be alright. I bought some "riggers" and some "mops" today. I don't know what they do... I intend to find out. I also bought a piece of board, which was amazingly cheap, I was pretty excited. I have yet to actually paint anything, but I am going to do a still painting somtime tommorow. I have nominated my Aloe. I will scan it in so that all of you will be able to see.

I really hope this turns out well. I am pretty excited about learning to paint with watercolors, though I am worried about how much work it will be. Goodbye cruel world! You'll see me in a couple of months!

Watercolor has always been tough for me... Probably because I use WAY too much water and end up soaking the paper. :P I think I actually posted a photo of an attempt at a watercolor picture I did before...
