Okay, so I was rejected for the first time today ::waves little flag::. That's like what... 1 down and 99 to go? They actually got back to me really fast! It was an online submission sort of thing and they were just like, "I'm sorry, we're not interested" and I'm like "cool" . . . So yeah, I guess it's one of the best first rejections I could have. I mean, they didn't say that they didn't LIKE anything that I wrote and I did do it... which I pretty proud of myself for! So... *sob* *cheer*! Onward to novel acceptance GLLOOORRRRYYYY!!!!

Craziness.

I had a friend who didn't understand rejection. He would ask one girl out, get turned down, ask her friend out the next day, get turned down, ask another friend out the following day, get turned down, and so on, whining about how he couldn't get a girlfriend...

rejected by a publisher? i understand how it feels. it reminded me of my eng teacher 100% rejected my story. but don't give up. maybe all u need is an experienced writer to pin point parts where u could polish before submitting to a publisher again.

u know colonel saunders got rejected like 20 times before someone offered to market his chicken.. and see KFC is prosperous in many countries now...
